Bellot

Created in 1956 by Roger BELLOT initially at Sauveterre-de-Guyenne (Gironde – France) and later relocated to Talence (suburbs of Bordeaux – Gironde – France), the BELLOT company has been designing and manufacturing vinification products for 50 years.

In 1956, BELLOT develops aseptic bung 56, specifically adapted for winemaking vats that are being emptied. In parallel, BELLOT develops a wide range of sealing covers for wine vats. These revolutionary sealing covers are made of PVC and stainless steel, a concept never matched yet. They have had, from the beginning, an aseptic valve in their centre. These light, rigid, practical, and easily cleaned sealing covers are fully adapted for wine maturation in vats.
